This Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 12.00 am, at lake "Ariana" in the “Borisova gradina” park a "Green" Workshop was held, which was part of the campaign of Aroma associated with the implementation of the first of its kind in the country adoption of an old, venerable , natural forest. The campaign began on June 5, 2012, the World Day for environmental protection, when the first of its kind in Bulgaria "Green Line" was opened - a path of real, live grass that stretched between the National Library "St.. St. Cyril and Methodius "and lake "Ariana".
The event started with Mrs. Iva Ikonomova (Marketing Director) who talked about the initiative of the company, the social responsibilities and the commitments that Aroma is dedicated to in the long term. Then, Mrs. Ikonomova talked about the forests in Bulgaria, what is their significance for the eco-balance, while children participated actively in the lecture , responding correctly to the questions given to them.
For the youngest visitors we organized drawing with safe paints of the Forest, the way they imagine it.The bigger children planted fresh flowers and assembled houses for some of the most sympathetic and vociferous inhabitants of the forest – the birds.
It was interesting for all to visit a improvised laboratory of "Greenline", in which Ms. Natalia Mihailova (innovator Cosmetics) demonstrated how to prepare creams. Visitors were let to prepare creams by themselves.
For moms and dads a lecture was organized, led by Mr. Ivan Ivanov (Head of Innovations), who spoke about the "Greenline" series and its advantages, and also about natural cosmetics and how by using them we can be in the same time healthy and natural, and to help the preservation of the ancient forests in Bulgaria.
During the event, a special film was also shown about the Aroma Forest, filmed a few days ago in the adopted by the company forest, so that all workshop participants can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the old natural forests and to understand more about their key role in maintaining the biodiversity and the rare and endangered plant and animal species.
