When to use shampoo for frequent use?

Cleanness is synonymous with health, which is particularly true for the scalp and hair. Typically, 1-2 washes per week are sufficient for maintaining excellent hygiene, but under certain circumstances, a frequent, even daily, use of shampoo is more than necessary.

Excessive sweating

Sweat, as we well know, has an important thermoregulatory and excretory function. But its excessive accumulation in the scalp can significantly weaken and damage the hair. Hot climate and exercise are the main activators of sweat, but people suffering from certain diseases or overweight are also subjected to excessive sweating. In such cases, the frequent use of shampoo is fully justified, because it is the only way to eliminate waste products contained in the sweat and to prevent skin irritation and hair loss.

Excessively oily scalp

The sebum- this natural lubricant of hair and scalp, under certain circumstances also becomes an enemy of good look. Hormonal changes accompanying puberty, menstruation, pregnancy and menopause stimulate sebum production and can lead to increased greasiness of hair. The same unpleasant effect can be caused by some health problems and medications resembling certain human hormones. Products suitable for daily washing remove excess fat, which not only creates a feeling of dirtiness in itself, but attracts environmental contaminants, too, creating a risk of clogging the pores and blocking hair growth.

Frequent use of styling products

Styling cosmetics is a daily necessity for people with unruly hair, as well as for those, whose business requires not only an always perfect vision, but also a varying one. However useful the styling products are, they must be removed by using shampoo once they meet its current task. Thus, the hair is ready for the next transformation, while the scalp is protected from the possible occurrence of itching, dandruff, excessive oiliness or drying.

Living in a polluted environment

Working in a specific environment and the occupation of areas with industrial pollution and intense traffic, have a devastating effects of tons of dust and toxins on the body. Their deposition on the hair and scalp is inevitable and only regular use of shampoo can prevent the oxidative stress, skin irritation and hair loss, caused by them

Cigarette smoke, with which we often surround ourselves completely voluntary, as smokers or nightlife lovers, is no less dangerous than other contaminants that float through the air. Burning tobacco releases radioactive substances, gases, similar to the ones from cars, and even substances used in the manufacturing of chemical weapons. Surely, we do not want any of them to stay for long on the skin of our head, because it can lead to dermatological problems and serious damage to the hair follicles.
