Quick and Easy Christmas hairstyles
We can certainly call December “the most festive month of the year”. It is always accompanied by many different parties - Christmas in the office, separately with friends, family dinner (which also requires flawless looks), New Year's Eve party (the most glamorous and fun) and several name days.
If you want your appearance to be different each time, we can give you some tips on how not to repeat yourself at the holiday dinners.
If you are invited to a formal event for New Year’s Eve, a bun is a good solution for your hair. We suggest, however, that it is not an ordinary bun. Make some beautiful curls with a curling iron or a press. Secure them with an effective hairpin, leaving two locks to freely fall along your forehead.
You can go for a more extravagant appearance with heavy makeup and a big puffy bang. It is also very fashionable to complete your hairstyle with a big hair barrette with floral motifs. All three versions do not take much time, but look spectacular.
Hair glitter is most suitable for winter. If you want to have something distinguishable in your appearance, but still not too striking, apply a bit of the glamorous spray. You can opt for straight hair with a rubber band or a hairpin with Christmas element.
Do you want something crazy and different from the boring everyday routine? Strengthen the roots of your hair and put some gel with brocade on them. Brush the ends up and make them stick out. Combine with interesting makeup and unusual jewelry. You will draw the attention immediately!
It would be pretty bold to change completely the color of your hair just for the evening, but if that’s what you want - why not? You're not so brave? There are countless interesting wigs that are even rented. There are also thematic ones, made of garlands. Try something new :)
If you do not have enough time to experiment, you can make regular curls by using rollers, press, curling iron, and even plaits. Then just put on a Christmas hat and turn into irresistible Snow White.
Plaits remain a classic hairstyle solution. The variations are many, but for New Year's Eve you could quickly acquire the looks of little Lolita with two long braids (extensions can be used). Just pinch back your fringe (or locks) with a hairpin, lifting it up slightly.
What about the so trendy retro looks? Make large ringlets with the ends of your hair, after you have previously parted it to one side. From left, lift one of the ringlets with a hairpin. On the other side, grasp the edges of the front lock, start rolling it up and adjust it, as shown in the image. Use hairspray.
Of course, you could always go for a disco appearance that is achieved very easily. You only need to make crimps, which give nice volume.
Do not forget that in addition to the shape, you can also experiment with the shades – whether you will dramatically accentuate with a totally new color or add a new playful shade is a matter of imagination and Christmas mood :). Happy Holidays!
